Our wacky club was established on November 19, 1997. So, that makes us 4 1/2 years old. We'll probably start kindergarten soon.

The now defunct AOL WB Buffy the Vampire Slayer Message Board. Since then, we moved into our own WB "Hanniganites" board, and then after that closed, we moved into our latest home.

    Alexis: 100th member to join the Hanniganites.

    Arianna, Ashli & Jenny: Hanni-convention planners

    Brenda: First internet member and unforgettable former handler of the Willow keeperships

    Dan: First admitted member to undergo Karyn's AHf Admittance Policy & Procedure in March 1998.

    Dusty: Established the 2nd Hanniganite site, Hanniganite Net; established the Illout Hanniganite message board; created the legendary concept of the imaginary Hanniganite House.

    Erin, James & Kim: Established the great Hanniganite Orchestra/Choir idea for the 1998 Holidays.

    Eva: Established Hanni-grams (birthday announcements); established the 4th (tied with Nat's site) Hanniganite site; chat hostess (for a brief period.)

    Hap: Board boss for past and present Hanni boards. Maintained order like nobody's business. Got Alyson Hannigan to beam for a picture after he said to her, "Big smile for the Hanniganites!"

    James: One of the most active internet members. He created countless ideas for the Frog City Website, in addition to the Hanni-Orchestra/Choir concept.

    Jen: Chat hostess of Slayer Central chatroom; took over in March 98 Aly's Alley (Hanniganite Newsletter), changing it from e-mail to webpage form.

    John: Charter member; creator of Aly's Alley (Hanniganite Newsletter); his Hanniganite question was answered by Aly in an AOL chat; suggested the term "The Almighty Hanniganite Family."

    Karyn: Created the term, "Hanniganite"; established the AHF Admittance Policy & Procedure; established the first ever Hanniganite website; asked Aly to sign an autograph for the Hanniganites.

    Kris: One of the most active members instrumental in keeping the Hanniganite spirit alive.

    Koren: One of the Raid message board story initiators; archivist for the Raid posts; creator of the name "Frog City" for our Hanniganite weekly chat.

    Lori: Established the second successful thread story, "X Marks the Spot" with Jenny; established the "Lily Pad Lane" site.

    Lynn: Established a message board for the Hanniganites in July 1998; Honorary member.

    Meg: Initiated the great "Reasons to be a Hanniganite" post.

    Mike: Took over for the Hanniganite chatroom announcements; went through 3 months of posts to write up a summaries for the first Hanni-anniversary.

    Natalie: Sometime Membership Director, established the 4th Hanniganite site, Hanniganites Unite!; chat announcement person; established the Hanniganite mailing list.

    Nichole: Past chat hostess for the Hanniganite Chat; sent out chat reminders to all members.

    Nick: President and Membership Director. In addition to solving the Digital Worlds Message Board problem, he initiated the Hanniganite presence on the Yahoo Message Boards, and dealt with those tough Hanniganite problems all these years. He also created a map of what he thought Frog City would look like.

    Stephanie: One of the first to join the Hanniganites; created the Hanni-book (that would be sent to Aly) idea.

DOES ALYSON HANNIGAN KNOW ABOUT US?


We suspect so for the following reasons:
  1. On February 10, 1999, in the AOL Live Chat, fellow Hanniganite John got his question picked for Aly to answer. In his question, John mentioned that he was from the Hanniganites and wondered if Aly frequents message boards. Aly didn't know that John meant the WB AOL message boards because she said she visits the official BTVS Message Board sometimes. But she also said, "I know about the Hanniganites. I can't say it, either. I can never pronounce it."
  2. Hanniganites that meet Aly at conventions always proudly tell her, "I'm a Hanniganite!" Read Roland and Amy's Aly encounter at a BTVS convention.
  3. Hanni Vice President Karyn told Aly she was a representative for the Hanniganites, shook her hand, handed her letters from the Hanniganites, and brought home an autographed Aly picture (Aly wrote, "Hi Hanniganites!" on it). Read more about this event.
  4. Before fellow Hanniganite Hap took a picture of Aly at a convention, he said to her, "Big smile for the Hanniganites!" and she responded with a HUGE smile. Read more about this event.
